Ways to Train

Three formats, one standard of coaching

Every format runs on the same programming and the same attention to form. The only difference is how many people are in the room with you.

Your session

What an hour here actually looks like

No guesswork, no wandering between machines waiting for a free rack. You arrive, the plan is already written, and we work.

01

Warm-up with intent

Movement prep chosen for what you're about to lift and for whatever your body is currently complaining about.

02

Coached working sets

Loads and reps are already planned from last session's numbers. I cue, spot and adjust in real time.

03

Logged before you leave

Everything is recorded, so next week starts where this one finished instead of starting over.

04

Checked against the scan

Every few weeks we re-measure on the InBody 270 and adjust the block based on what actually changed.

Packages

Choose the commitment that fits

Sessions are sold in blocks so we can plan progression properly. We’ll settle on the right package together at your assessment — no pressure to decide beforehand.

Starter block

Try it properly · 1–2 sessions per week

A short run of private sessions to learn the lifts, build a routine and see how coaching feels before committing further.

Transformation block

Most popular · 2–3 sessions per week

The 6 to 10 week structure behind the results on the Results page. Programming, nutrition guidance and re-scans included.

Ongoing coaching

For the long game · flexible weekly

For clients past their first transformation who want to keep progressing, keep the habit and keep being coached.

Questions

Before your first session

Anything not covered here, call the studio at (313) 333-8296 and ask directly.

Do I need to be in shape to start?

No. Clients arrive at every level, from never having trained to returning after years off. The assessment exists precisely so the program starts where you actually are rather than where a template assumes you are.

What happens at the free assessment?

About 45 minutes: an InBody 270 body composition scan, measurements, a conversation about your goals and history, and a walkthrough of what the first block would look like. You leave with your numbers whether or not you train here.

I have an old injury — can you work around it?

Usually, yes. Tell me about it at the assessment and the programming accounts for it. Several current clients train around back, shoulder and knee histories. If something needs medical clearance first, I'll say so.

How often should I train?

Two sessions a week is the realistic minimum for visible change; three moves faster. Consistency over months beats intensity for a fortnight, so we pick a frequency you can actually sustain.

Do you handle nutrition too?

Guidance, yes — practical targets and habits built around your schedule, reviewed as your body composition changes. No supplement sales and no meal-prep service.

What should I bring?

Training shoes, comfortable clothes and water. The studio has everything else, including the equipment for whatever your program calls for.
